APS 371 - Economics and Finance of Higher Education Semester Hours: 3 Spring
Provides prospective administrators with a conceptual and practical understanding
of fiscal and economic concerns which directly and indirectly influence institutions
of higher education. Examination of the role of postsecondary institutions in
the economic growth and development of society, the influence of socioeconomic
and political conditions and changes on the maintenance and growth of postsecondary
institutions; major contemporary fiscal issues; and basic principles and processes
of fiscal management.
