IT 30 - Web-based Application Development

Semester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring
This course is an in-depth study of the Web development process using professional Web-authoring tools. The course covers the concepts, issues and techniques related to designing, developing, and deploying Web sites. Students develop Web applications using Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks. Further, this course provides an introduction to Web 2.0 multimedia technologies and object oriented scripting languages. Topics that will be covered include HTML, XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Java Script and Action Scripting.
