PHI 165 - Philosophy of LanguageSemester Hours: 3 Periodically
An investigation of how language relates to the world. The course examines theories
of the nature of meaning, truth, reference and fiction, and the relations these
concepts have to linguistic and other kinds of behavior.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: PHI 10 or 14 or permission of instructor.
