An in-depth study of a topic in philosophy of law or a major thinker in the field. The specific topic or figure for the course varies from semester to semester. Examples of course topics are natural law theory; liberty; gender equality; sexuality and the law; philosophical issues in criminal law; and disability and the law.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: PHI 120 or permission of the instructor. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. (Formerly Advanced Topics in Philosophy and Law.)
