COUN 227: Counseling for Career and Life Planning Semester Hours: 3 Theories, systems, procedures and processes of career counseling are presented. This course focuses on knowledge and skill development in assessment techniques and presents developmental strategies for promoting effective career and life decisions on the part of clients. Applications for different settings and cultures are explored and the technological tools used in contemporary career counseling practice are examined.
