Students earning this badge will achieve competency in basic radiation therapy physics and advanced applications in radiation therapy.  Topics covered will include principles of dosimetry, treatment planning, calibration of external beam and brachytherapy modalities, and advanced radiation delivery techniques such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy.

Badges are not available to students currently enrolled in the Hofstra medical physics graduate program.
