Minor Requirements - Total Semester Hours: 18
A minor in political science consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours of any combination of courses in the Department of Political Science , at least 6 semester hours in-residence, with a grade of C- or higher in each course.
NOTE
For both majors and non-majors, it is strongly recommended that, before taking advanced courses in American Government and Politics (PSC 105 , 111 , 114 , 115 , 120 , 121 , 126 , 127 , 128 , 129 , 147 ), PSC 001 be taken first. Only students who have a clear understanding of the workings of the American system of government should consider taking advanced courses in American Government and Politics without first taking the introductory course.
