NUR 315 - Genetics, Genomics and Health Promotion Semester Hours: 2 This course will utilize the scientific concepts of advanced principles in genetics and genomics to develop a personalized approach to targeted screening and health promotion. Doctoral advanced practice students will translate genetic/genomics, epigenetic advances into practice and integrate precision medicine into delivery models of care. This course will also address ethical, legal, and social challenges associated with genetic information and technology. After the course, students will be prepared to holistically integrate best genetic/genomic evidence and clinical judgment into practice.
