OTH 228 - Functional Movement: Analysis and Assessment Semester Hours: 2 The focus of this course is understanding human movement and the biomechanics of movement. This will include the development of evaluation and analysis skills on human function in relation to movement and mobility and the effects on occupational performance. Students will receive hands-on experience applying kinesiology for specific musculoskeletal regions, including torso, upper extremity, and lower extremities, and how this relates to therapeutic facilitation techniques used by occupational therapists.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Matriculation in the Occupational Therapy Program and completion of first year Fall course sequence meeting the academic standards for OTH 200 , 203 , 204 , 217 , and 227 .
