LIT 043 - (LT) Greek Tragedy

Semester Hours: 3
Periodically
Reading and analysis of plays by Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides. The cultural, religious, and political contexts of the 5th century BC will provide the background for literary interpretation of the plays. Supplemental readings may include selections from Thucydides, Plato and Aristotle.
