ELED 114 - Human Development Grades 3-6

Semester Hours: 3

This course explores the physical, health, nutrition, safety, social, emotional, aesthetic, linguistic, and cognitive characteristics of children from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds with an emphasis on implications for multicultural awareness on education in the school setting. Global perspectives on development through the elementary school grades frame the discussion of both typical and atypical growth and learning.
