MUSB 100 - Music Publishing in the Music Industry

Semester Hours: 3
This course provides a broad and comprehensive overview of the business and creative sides of Music Publishing in the Music Industry. Students will learn about traditional and emerging deals and revenue streams available to songwriters, artists and content owners, and different ways to maximize them. Practical strategies and approaches to song rights administration and valuation will be explored.
