ENGG 167 - BioelectronicsSemester Hours: 3 Introduction to the fundamentals underlying the field of Bioelectronics required for the application of electronic engineering and biophysical principles. Computer and laboratory-based applications to analyze communication interface between electronic components and biological materials such as cells, tissue, and organs. Design and analysis of biosensors and electrochemical sensor interfaces are emphasized. Basic chemical, biochemical, biological, and thermodynamic concepts are covered. The ability to use MATLAB and basic knowledge of PSpice/Orcad are recommended.
