FOR 125 - Forensic BiologySemester Hours: 3 This course exposes students to a comprehensive overview of forensic biology and its different areas as it applies to forensic investigations. Pertinent subdisciplines of biology (e.g., entomology, microbiology, botany, ecology, and zoology) and their application in forensic science are covered. The use of a wide variety of biological materials, including different organisms (invertebrates, vertebrates, plants, and microbes), for forensic evidence, is discussed.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: FOR 101, BIOL 112.
