BCHM 165 - Chemical BiologySemester Hours: 3 Chemical biology is the study of complex living systems (i.e., cells) using the tools and methods of chemistry. A focus of the course is the manipulation, control, and detection of proteins and their functions using specially synthesized organic molecules. Current topics will be covered by a review of relevant research articles, which are updated with each offering.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: BCHM 162 May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.
