CHEM 132A - Elements of Organic Chemistry Basic principles of chemistry extended to organic compounds, aliphatic and aromatic,
through nomenclature, methods of preparation, reactions and physical properties,
and to theories of bonding, structure and mechanism of reaction. (3 hours lecture,
1 hour recitation.)
Prerequisites & Notes CHEM 4A, 131A. Students registering for 132A should also register for the corresponding
laboratory course 131B or 132B. CHEM 131A must be completed before CHEM 132A.
