NOTES
-
You are not required to take Summer or January courses (for which there is no financial aid). You can complete your degree of 124 credits with five 3-credit courses every semester, one internship credit per semester for three semesters, and one additional credit in a semester.
-
The PPPS Program strongly encourages the study of a foreign language beyond Level 3.
-
In addition to studying abroad for either semester in their third year, students can go for the entire academic year in their third year, a semester in their second or fourth years, or a short-term program in the summer or during the January break.
-
Students are encouraged to consider a minor or a double major. PPPS majors often complete a double major in another Kalikow School Department (Anthropology, Economics, Global Studies and Geography, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Religion). Double majors with other schools, such as Business, Communication, Education, and more, are possible.
-
PPPS students have numerous opportunities for local, state, and national internships, including semester programs in Albany, NY, and Washington, D.C. and internships on Long Island and in New York City. Internship possibilities are discussed with the PPPS Executive Dean and the Career Center.
