SPLT 52 - (LT) Interpreting the Hispanic Legacy Spain’s legacy on a global basis with special attention to its mutual relationship with Hispanic America and their respective values, as expressed in their literary and traditional myths. Matters of multicultural origins, the assessments of the modern dilemma, and projections of Hispanic literature, politics, art and other cultural manifestations are discussed. Readings are interpretative as well as historical. Attendance at a designated theater performance and art exhibition are required.
