FA 102C - Motion Graphics and Sound Design for Digital Media

Semester Hours: 3
Fall
Motion graphics and sound design use typography and digitally manipulated images and sounds for screens of all sizes. Students learn the planning and production tools necessary for motion graphics and sound design, including research, creative exploration, treatments, storyboards and software prototypes. This course covers the aesthetic and practical aspects of planning, creating and producing motion graphics for digital media. All students create an online web-based portfolio and a professional blog. This course includes lecture(s) from guest speaker(s) from the design, media, art, marketing, public relations and advertising professions and assistance with internships and career planning in the creative professions.
