Semester Hours:3Introduction to biblical Hebrew and northwest Semitic Hebrew consisting of the examination of the alphabet, grammar, and syntax of of the sacred language. Attention is paid to the historical development and evolution of Hebrew in the pre- and post-exilic periods.
