This course will concentrate on the strategic choices in managing
compensation. The course is presented through an integrated model
based on the notion of total compensation. Major compensation issues
are discussed in the context of theory, research and practice. Special
attention will be paid to understanding the role of government,
globalization and labor unions in the design of a compensation system.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: MGT 121 and junior class standing or above.
