Eighteenth- and 19th-century harmony through 7th chords, extended dominants, chromaticism and modulation.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
MUS 70A and 71. Corequisite: MUS 64 or permission of the department. Credit given for this course or 72A and 74. Students should register for 63 and 71 in the same semester and 64 and 72 in the following semester.
