Minor Requirements - Total Semester Hours: 18
A Minor in Finance for Mathematics Majors consists of the successful completion of a minimum of 18 semester hours of course
work with grades of C- or better, under faculty advisement in the Department of Finance, with at least six semester hours in residence. A completed minor in finance
will be listed on the student’s transcript. Required Courses - Semester Hours: 9

Choose One Course From the Following - Semester Hours: 3
Required Non-Finance Course - Semester Hours: 3

MATH 137 is strongly recommended as a co-requisite for FIN 110 in lieu of QM
122. Notes for School of Business Minors (Non-business Majors)
No School of Business courses may be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.
No student pursuing a bachelor’s degree other than a Bachelor of Business Administration degree may complete more than 30 semester hours of School of Business course work without permission of the School of Business Dean’s Office. The student must have the appropriate form approved by and filed with the major and minor departments.
All minors must be declared at the Office of Academic Records. |
