Minor Requirements - Total Semester Hours: 19


A Minor in Information Technology consists of the successful completion of a minimum of 19 semester hours of course work (including IT 14) with grades of C- or better, under faculty advisement in the Department of Information Technology and Quantitative Methods, with at least 12 semester hours in-residence. A completed minor in information technology will be listed on the student’s transcript.

  • In addition to the specific courses below, student must take four additional three-credit IT courses

Notes for School of Business Minors (Non-business Majors)


No School of Business courses may be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.

No student pursuing a bachelor’s degree other than a Bachelor of Business Administration degree may complete more than 30 semester hours of School of Business course work without permission of the School of Business Dean’s Office. The student must have the appropriate form approved by and filed with the major and minor departments.

All minors must be declared at the Office of Academic Records.
