Consists of the successful completion of 18 s.h. in a variety of courses in the Department of Journalism, Media Studies, and Public Relations. Only 3 s.h. will be accepted as transfer credit for this minor. Students who minor in journalism must complete JRNL 001  and 011 . In addition, students must complete 12 s.h. of electives, at least 9 s.h. of which must have a JRNL prefix.

Internships for departmental credit are reserved for departmental majors only.
