Sustainability Studies, Minor in

The minor in sustainability studies is meant for students who wish to augment their main degree through a broad exploration of sustainability issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. Students may earn a minor in sustainability studies by completing 18 s.h. of course work, with a grade of C- or above, as defined below. At least 6 s.h. must be in residence.

Elective Courses - Semester Hours: 12


Select 12 s.h. of course work from the list of electives specified for the B.A.  or the B.S.  in sustainability studies. (At least 3 s.h. must be in SBLY, GEOG, or GS. GEOG 104, 151-154 and GS 104, 151-154 may be counted toward the 12 s.h. of required electives with permission of the program director.) NOTE: Prior to taking elective courses, see adviser to develop a course plan. Click on course titles listed to access course descriptions and check prerequisites, in order to ensure eligibility to enroll and proper completion of academic background courses. Note that not all courses are offered every semester.
